I consider it an honor to stand alongside the Spanish-speaking people of this state as they fight to defeat anti-immigrant legislation. These are laws that criminalize human beings for wanting to live where they have the best chance to work and raise a family. Undocumented immigrants deserve amnesty. Guest-worker programs are a step backwards and deny the civil rights of millions of people who work, live in—and pay taxes to—California. |

| Barbara Becnel for Governor 2006 is a committee formed to support Barbara’s campaign for Governor of California in 2006. Under California and Federal law, this committee may accept contributions of up to $22,300 per election for the primary and general elections from individuals, businesses, corporations, unions, PACs and small contributor committees. Contributions from foreign nationals are prohibited unless an individual is lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the United States. Contributions to Barbara's campaign are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. |
